je t’aime
l’arte contro la violenza sulle donne
9 – 25 ottobre 2025
MAIIIM Lab
Darsena di Genova, Calata Andalò Di Negro 15
Some works from my series are on display at the MAIIIM Lab (media art III millenium) in Genova.
From October 9 on, the MAIIIM Lab in Genoa, Art Commission, with the patronage of the Liguria Region and the Municipality of Genoa, presents the third edition of Je t’aime, the contemporary art exhibition that strongly affirms an artistic testimony against violence against women.
A project that invites reflection and discussion, claiming art’s role in civic engagement. The distinctive feature of Je t’aime is the collective exhibition composed exclusively of works by male artists : a clear choice that underlines the urgency of a clear and public male stance against gender-based violence that cannot and must not belong to our civilization. Men speaking to men, to say no to all forms of abuse; artists denouncing violent behavior and words we no longer want to read: rape, violence, femicide. At the same time, it is a dialogue with women: an invitation not to remain silent and not to hide their suffering. The artists exhibiting in this third edition come from various Italian and foreign cities: Carmine Calvanese, Sabatino Cersosimo, Silvano Repetto, Andrea Sanvittore, Joachim Seinfeld, and André Werner.
